Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a growing client in the Greater Boston area. This role forms a critical part of the Application Development team doing all new development on a custom core application for the business. This role is hybrid, onsite 4 days a week.Description:The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for leading new software development initiatives utilizing modern technologies and frameworks including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, Web services, Microservices, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web API, JSON, XML, T-SQL. As an integral part of the Application Development team, the individual will be creating, enhancing, and maintaining complex software systems to meet the needs of their rapidly growing enterprise.Responsibilities:- Participate in full-cycle application development including requirement analysis, architecture, design, coding, and verification.- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software designs.- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.- Implement modern software solutions based on best practices.- Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.- Perform thorough testing to ensure maximum performance and quality of applications.- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize product performance.- Maintain accurate documentation of software design and code.
